Persian Woman

Persian Woman is an homage to life for women in Iran before and after the revolution of 1979. While there were and are supporters and opposers of the revolution, it is undeniable that the physical freedoms of women living there were severely limited. This video features genuine footage of Iran and of Iranian women, men, and children, and is set to a musical piece featuring sampled and original tracks, sounds, electronic features, and traditional Persian instruments. The lesson is that, regardless of the laws imposed, the feminine Iranian woman remains.
